Frequently asked questions

1. What mediums do you work with?

I create ceramic sculptures using hand-building techniques, and each piece is hollowed, carved, and fired using a variety of methods such as raku and electric kiln firing. I also offer paintings in watercolor and acrylic on canvas or paper.

2. Are your sculptures and paintings one-of-a-kind?

Yes, all my artworks are unique, original pieces. No two pieces are exactly alike, as each sculpture and painting is made by hand with distinctive features and design.

3. What is your refund policy?

I strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, due to the nature of original artwork, I do not accept returns or provide refunds unless the piece arrives damaged. If your item is damaged during shipping, please contact me within 7 days of delivery to arrange a return or replacement (subject to availability).

4. What should I do if my artwork arrives damaged?

If your sculpture or painting arrives damaged, please email me immediately with photos of the damage and the packaging. You will have the option of receiving a full refund or a replacement piece if one is available. You must report damage within 7 days of receiving the item to qualify for a refund or replacement.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of the artwork. The shipping fee will be provided during checkout before completing your purchase.

7. How long will it take to receive my order?

Once your order is placed, I aim to ship your item within 7-10 business days. For custom or made-to-order pieces, shipping may take longer, but I will keep you updated throughout the process. Once shipped, delivery times depend on the shipping method and your location.

8. Do you offer custom sculptures or paintings?

Yes, I accept commissions for both sculptures and paintings. Please contact me with your ideas, and we can discuss pricing, timelines, and details to create a custom piece just for you.

At this time, I do not offer gift cards. However, my artwork can make a great gift, and I’m happy to work with you to make your purchase special!

11. How do I care for my ceramic sculptures?

Ceramic sculptures are durable but should be handled with care. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, and use a soft, dry cloth to clean them. For outdoor sculptures, ensure they are protected from harsh weather conditions to prevent wear.

12. Can I request a different finish or glaze on a sculpture?

Yes, for custom orders, I can discuss different glazing options and finishes. Keep in mind that the look of the glaze can vary based on firing techniques, and the final appearance might have natural variations.
